Apex Beat

Jon Clatworthy-Vocal/bass
David Smith - Harmonica/guitar
Alex Wong - Guitar
Morgan Cleasby - Drums, backing vocals

Founded in 1988 when drummer and second year medical student Morgan Cleasby put up an advert outside Birmingham Med School Canteen. At it's height, the band had three vocalists, a 3 piece brass section, keyboards, guitars, harmonica etc etc. For Local Live Aid, it'll be in it's smallest form as a four piece.  The current incarnation of Aphex Beat (a medical term to describe where you can feel a heartbeat on a chest) is an amalgamation of Screaming Blue Murder - originally a three piece blues band, and part of Apex Beat who did covers of Stax and Atlantic soul classics. Since then they have branched out to include punk, classic rock, funk and Brit-pop and hope to do a set that covers most of these areas and as many decades as possible.

Viper Lounge

Based in the Rugeley area of Staffordshire, this accomplished three-piece outfit pride themselves on their ability to pull most things out of their 'Deeper-than-Normal' musical hat. Always aiming to please the crowd, they have a great knack of hitting the right spot with their diverse range of musical tastes and ability.

Covering popular tunes stretching from Abba to the Arctic Monkeys and ZZ Top to The Zutons, these guys never fail to please - making them the perfect choice, whatever the occasion.

Rehab

Rehab who were our Killers and Kaiser Chiefs tribute band from last year are a local gigging band who will be play a whole array of music from the past and present.

Ian Harding

Ian is an acoustic guitarist who will be playing some great golden oldies from the likes of John Denver and James Taylor.

The Elements

The Elements are a professional signed act who have supported Oasis and Paul Weller on recent tours!  Hailing from the local vicinity, these guys are a band to watch out for.

Andrew Barnes

Sound of an Angel - Andrew Barnes is a very talented young man who sings a whole range of music from pop to romantic ballards by a variety of well know artists.
